Each year we have a small amount of painted notebooks that are less-than-perfect for our retail line. We've selected our best quality seconds that didn't make the cut for final sale. This is your chance to purchase a sample notebook at a reduced price.

These notebooks may have spots of paint on them, no elastic, missing pockets, bubbling in the painted cloth, crinkles in the endpaper or have other not quite perfect qualities. A limited quantity is available. We will pick each notebook at random, so the Small A6 Notebook you receive will be a SURPRISE.

Hand-painted cloth cover with high quality wire binding. Both cover and back cover are hand painted, making each notebook completely one of a kind.

I wish it had a close strap! I picked this one out cause I liked the design and then it rang out as a second? I don’t really know what that is. But perhaps the regular ones have a close strap. But I like it quite a bit! It’s very fun and professional.

Second? Maybe a third.

I know it’s a second, but my sketchbook came with lined paper and no elastic band. I would’ve hoped the blank pages would’ve not been swapped out.

We sent Josie a new sketchbook with blank pages. This was an unfortunate error on our part. Some of our seconds don't have elastic though and this is noted in the listing.
